Collection: KAIKUSÉ
The Kaikusé design, meaning Jaguar in the Pemón language, embodies strength, mystery, and elegance. It features representations of endangered fauna and flora species geographically distributed across Bolívar State in Venezuela. This region is home to highly diverse ecosystems, including evergreen forests, palm forests, evergreen shrublands, tepui and riparian shrublands, tepui grasslands, and saxicolous vegetation—the latter referring to the unique ecosystems of the tepuis, which, due to their isolation, harbor a significant number of endemic species.
As a representation of these geological formations, this design features the majestic summit of the Gran Sabana: Auyantepui. Considered one of the oldest exposed formations on Earth, its summit—sculpted over millions of years atop the Precambrian Guiana Shield—hosts a unique ecosystem with endemic species that defy time. Its towering cliffs and Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world, form a landscape of awe-inspiring beauty. In its isolation, life has evolved in extraordinary ways, making it an invaluable natural laboratory for both biology and geology.
More than geological icons, the Tepuis are an endless source of inspiration, revered by Indigenous peoples and admired by explorers and artists seeking to capture their mystical silhouette shrouded in mist. Their conservation is an act of reverence toward the Earth's majesty, a reminder that atop these summits, the past and future of life, science, and beauty intertwine in their purest form.
